Wall paint thinner

Asked by angelinas 4 months ago, 2 answers.

Hello, just wondering whether using water as paint thinner would work as well as the regular paint thinner.

No, I don't think so. Maybe with a water-based paint--but may thin **too much** and I'd def say it wouldn't work at all w/ an oil-based paint.

Use water for water based paint which is most paints.
Use paint thinner or turpentine for oil based paints which are not around much anymore.
