my baby sister is 20weeks preg. she and her boyfriend came to me and asked me to adopt him. I have had 9 misscarriages it is hard for me to carry children adn though I have a 4yr old I have always wanted a sibling for her. my sister is not in a palce in...

llife to care for another child so I agreed though now I need to know what steps do I need to take.

Go to your court house and file for adoption...you may need a lawyer, and your sister and her boyfriend will need to revoke their parental rights.

Both sides may need a lawyer. You're probably going to want to do a closed adoption and you're probably not going to want to tell the child that their aunt is actually their mom. Have them waive their parental rights and they probably need to take the baby away right away, unless your sister REALLY doesnt want it.
