Verison calling at&t-long distance.

So I have a friend that lives across the country and we tend to talk on the phone for about an hour a day. I have verison and he has ATT and I was wondering if I am using up my verison minutes when he calls me and if it is free for both of us past 7:00...

at night since that's what time it's free for him.

Verizon merged with AllTel, reverting to only Verizon on 7/11/09 - not sure about ATT - suggest you call customer service.
