Trying to write a short story...

What are some original, yet relatable short story ideas?

welp you could write about a lost dog...or syco xx bfs...I don't know

write about what you think would be the perfect thing ever.

or a guy you love...

It's quite easy to write a short story. I tend to relate my stories to people who I may know or I relate them from my own life. Doing this makes it very easy and you have a constant flow of ideas because you relate to it.

Well, you can write about anything really...
You could write about the thoughts of your favorite pair of shoes, or what its like when you lose your first pet.
You could write about what life would be like if there was magic, or aliens invading the earth.
You could write about an abusive boyfriend, or having a really great boyfriend and falling in love for the first time.
Write about something that inspires you and that you have a lot of ideas/thoughs/feelings about. If you write about something you don't care about, it will be less believable.
