When should I trim my money tree?

What is the best season to trim a money tree? I've seen them with rather large 'trunks' with shoots that are new at the trimmed areas but when is the best time of year to do this? In the colder season while the plant is somewhat dormant or in the spring when the plant is thriving?

benmohs,

I'm not sure about money trees specifically, but I know for a variety of plants you should trim/prune them once they finish their spring growth. So I would do it at a time of flourish, not dormancy.

Good luck!
