The best credit card depends on how you will use it.
If you pay the balance off in full every month than the interest rate doesn't matter much, look for a card with no annual fee and a bank with a good reputation for not screwing over thier cardmembers. Some banks will loose payments so they can charge large late fees.
If you see yourself carrying a balance than look for a card with a low interest rate and large enough of a credit limit to handle expendatures. Some banks will jack up your interest rate at the drop of a hat; they get your credit report every month and if anything negative shows up from any creditor they use it as an excuse to raise your rate, often to the highest rate law allows. I have my checking account and some of my IRA at Bank of America so I have one of their credit cards; their interest rate is low and I don't think they'd screw with me because if they did they'd risk loosing me as a customer for all my accounts
There are cards that pay you back. I had a GM card for years, 5% of everything you buy up to a limit can be applied to a GM car or truck. I had $3,500 to spend toward a vehicle which seemed like a good deal than I realized that there was no GM vehicle I wanted even with $3,500 oft the price. I use a Discover card a bit because it does give a little cash back, not much but any rebate is better than nothing. I recently got a Disney card so I can earn toward a Disney vacation we will take in a year or two.
Credit is a tool. People should learn to use it wisely instead of avoiding it all together.
There are so many credit cards available for you which is the best you have to decide ,because how you can use credit card and how you manage your credit payment its all depends on that. if you are planning to apply for credit cards then you have to search and compare first then if you satisfy by the features and benefits of the card then apply.
