toning lower abs

I know that I can do sit ups or crunches or something for my abs- but I need something that can help melose weight around and below my belly button, because my abs work wierdly and for some reason its easier for me to build muscle on my upper abs. anyway I need a good exercise method for toning bellow my naval

Try what I call “Lying Bicycles”. You lay on your back and put your hands behind your head. Then you move your legs as if you’re riding a bike but fully extend your legs when you go forward and bend them all the way when you being them toward you. During this you will bring your opposite elbow to your knee, keeping your torso lifted the whole time.

Also try this: Lay on your back, prop your torso up with your arms (bent at the elbows) holding you up. Then you’ll bring your feet a little of the floor. With your toes pointed, rapidly flutter your feet, bringing the left above the right, the right above the left and continue to do this. You’ll begin to feel it in your abs.

Also try bent knee raises. Laying on your back. Lift your legs in the air and bend your knees at 90 degrees. Keep your hands at your sides on the floor beside you. Then you will bring your butt up off of the floor and do sorta like backwards crunches.

Leg lifts will focus on the lower half of the abdominals. Also if you do exercises that target the obliques which twist & turn your torso, that will help strengthen & tone your lower abs. For the best work out & flattest stomach, focus on crunches, and leg lifts, and also twisting crunches the work the obliques. By making sure that you target all three major areas, you’ll achieve the best most well rounded results.
