Tongue piercing infected or not ?

I just got my tongue pierced 2 days ago
And latly its been getting purple around
My piercing is that normal ?

Uhmmm I've NEVER heard of a tongue piercing getting purple...

I'd go see your piercer ASAP. =\

Does not sound normal... I'd go to the doctor or the person who pierced it.

no, purple is a not a colour you want to see
go back to the piercer or see a doctor
you may be having an allergic reaction to it
or its bruised
its infected, ect
see someone about it as soon as possible
because its not supposed to be purple

you could be just having an allergic reaction. wait a few days see how it goes, or change the bar to a different type .. plastic or w.e.
then in a few days if it still the same go back to the peicer and see what they think of it.

I couldn't tell you what to do about this, as mines gone exactly the same.

Mine looks like a pupley, Yellowish colour, is urs simular?

Well, I had it done on monday, an its like this now, which im really unsure about, if the colour hasn't gone by Monday, then I'm going back to the place I had it done. Thats the only thing I could advise you to do, do the same, after a week or so of having it done.
