Infected tongue ring?

I got my tongue pierced 2 weeks ago. About 6 days into it (after drinking raspberry iced tea and swishing with peroxyl) I looked in the mirror and saw yellow pus around my tongue ring. I checked the mirror 5 minutes later and saw these weird brown veins stretching toward the back of my tongue. The piercer looked worried and told me to take it out, and she didn't know what the veins were. Help! Do you think I can get it repierced?

Wait at least a year to get it re-pierced.
