Tongue piercing infected?

Asked by mimi0220 about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

I just got my tongue pierced about 3 days ago. This is the second time I've got it done. The swelling seems normal, and it doesnt hurt that bad. But I am concerned because just this morning, as I was rinsing my mouth out...there is ared bump infront of...

the piercing. It kinda looks liks a blood blister. Is this ok. Or is it infected?

Definatly not normal. Either go to a doctor or to where you got it pierced. It could be an infection and if it is, it's needs to be checked out immediatly.

well when I got my tongue pierced I had a lil bump but as I kept taking care of my mouth (w/ mouthwash after every meal and brushing off the pus which is normal) the bump disappeared. tongues are really easily irritated soo make sure you clean your mouth regularly hygiene is very important
