Could a tongue piercing harm my baby?

I'm 8 months pregnant. Could piercing my tongue (professionally) harm the baby in ANY way?

The only real risk involved would be an infection, which can be transmitted through the blood.

You're 8 months along, I'd advise you wait the last couple of months just to be safe.

Honestly I don't think anyone can be sure. Just to be safe I would wait a while.
