Studying is a discipline. Your life needs to be balanced, that is you have time to play, relax, do your social obligations and feel unpressured. When I study, I create a quiet space, no tv, phone, or music. I get myself into the mood by taking a few deep breaths to relax and clear my mind. If you are thinking about another issue other than studying, the time is not very productive. I get into time flows, where maybe an hour went by very quickly and then I am aware of my surroundings again. At that time I take a short break, get up and do something else for 10 or 15 minutes. Your mind needs time to absorb the info., like defragging a hard drive. Tell your friends you are studying and dont want to be disturbed during this time. If you are a partier, this can be hard to do. Hangovers are not conducive to productive studying. Highly productive studying is a discipline.
Devise a timetable for each day, but don't over do it. Build in some free time too. Have one day a week off.
Then you stick to it!
try going to the library and work there and when you take breaks go outside for awhile to stretch, take deep breaths,or even go for a little walk to clear your mind.Try studying for five minutes then take a break then study for ten minutes then take another break and so on.You could also take a snack like pretzels, corn nuts, or even an apple and water/tea/gatorade but NOT soda because that can make you tired and you won't be able to focus much because of all the sugar. Also if you like music while studying don't put Nelly Furtado or Missy Elliot on because then all your focus will be gone so instead try going for the instrumental music that way there aren't any lyrics to listen to.

What are some studying tips?
Send me Fun Mail
Well I've just had my exams and finished School for the year, but I want some great study tips for next year. I didn't really study this year because I didn't really no how but I did try! So I've devised a plan for next year (new year resoloution) that I'll start studying in the beginning of the year to retain what I learn, and so I won't have to jam it all in my head a couple of weeks before exams. But to do this I want some really good study tips that I can use.
What are your Study tips that I can use???
Thank you! xox
