The world is going to end when im scared

IS The world really going to end in 2012???
Should we be prepared or dont worry about it???
or will it happen or not???

Only God know when the earth as we know it will end - for the end research the 'battle of Armageddon'...Take care !!

there is no way of knowing until 2012 comes along. the world can end at any minute, any day. its unpredictable

rayne you are correct but you have to remember the world can end far before then. nuclear war, random global disaster, some huge plague. there could be an apocalypse for all I know. we could invent technology to save antartica. no one can predict the future. what history channel was saying is that if things stay on current course, then that is when antarctica will melt. but things can change. its nothing but a prediction. its not fact...

dont believe in this rapture stuff. im catholic, proud of it, but our faith is against the rapture. if your protestant, my apolgies, but this is just my opinion

u shouldnt worry they said the world was going to end from 1970 to 1990 to 2000 then to 2008 and now its the big 2012 big whoop they just make that up to scare people a lot of people killed themselves from being scared they died for nothing dont listen to them listen to me they are lying

nobody knows the minute, hour, day or year of when the world will end!

the world will end like a thief in the night, it will happen when you least expect it,

just try make things right in life now that you are living if you have God in your life then you shouldnt be scared when the world ends!

I wouldn't say don't worry about it, but trying to set dates on the end is paranoid and pointless. Just make sure that you live what you consider to be a good life, know what to do in the case of a nuclear attack(sounds paranoid, but I seriously think we should have continued that from the 60s and 70s), and know how to survive without civilization. Boyscouts would ideally teach you all of that, though I never had success because of some of the social aspects(or in the local group's case, socialIST. People just can't mind their own business these days).

Live life to it's fullest. Don't be afraid if it is over. Hopefully we will be in heaven in an instant if we do disappear in 2012. I just know that this is heavily based on the Mayan calendar that ends that year. Many of the other predicted times of disaster on this calendar have been true so far. It predicts a drastic change in the earth's temperature. So I have no idea if it means we will cease to exist due to extreme weather conditions or if we will survive but that we are going to just suffer losing any ice glaciers and global warming become a huge issue.

I dont think it's possible that the world can end. I mean yes, we have a lot of problems and such, but we have dealt with things that were bad before. I'm not saying that there isn't such things as stars exploding or anything like that, I'm just saying, if it hasn't happened now, it probably won't happen. That doesnt mean we shouldn' be cautious, but it also doesn't mean that we should spend the rest of our lives worrying abou it.
We should get out and enjoy our lives in stead of being huddled in corners eating canned foods and being scared of going outside.

Yea and I believe in God and that only he knows when the end is and I dont worry about th end because I know it better to life myself and just get on with things in the present time. To have a fulfilling life and enjoy myself. Its not good to worry about things that we dont know whether they are going to happen. So honestly just focus on your life now and try your best to have a good life and remember to be positive .

The world is highly unlikely to end in 2012, also, what do you mean by end ?

Though personally I would be afraid of Global warming and the economy, also oddly shaped biscuits.

everyone thought the world would end in 2000 but that never happened so I think we are safe. but I imagine if it did it would hurt like hell!

nonsense, how can people be so exact and so correct. if so the world wont end...just the people..things happen unexpectedly..and plus...people come and go. part of nature. you should have no fear of death. eventually that day comes to everybody.

No!, But you could go crazy thinking about it. Some stuff might happen in 2012 that will either make history or not. I'm not worried and plus there is absolutely nothing that will make 2012 the end of earth.

Those scientists are always playing guessing games. They also say something about Apophis (an asteroid) which they believe has a very small chance of hitting the earth in 2029 and 2036, although they seem more anxious about the year 2036 (because the chance of Apophis hitting is higher). To put your mind at rest though, even if it does happen it would be over in a millionth of a second. We wouldn't even have time to turn our heads, let alone say oh crap. Lol. But until that time, people should live life to the full. It could happen tomorrow or in a thousand years. There's no point in thinking about it now because you'll drive yourself crazy until the end. Just have as much fun in life as you can (whether it's eating junk food, partying, travelling, or whatever). It's your choice what kind of life you'd rather have. =o)

12/12/2012 wow my brovas b-day neyways the myans came up with that that date as the end of the world becase that is the last day of the myan calender hence of the worl last day etc.. but we no longer use the myan calender we use te georgian calender which the first day of the calender is in april thats why the finacial year always starts in april an ends in march
