From a Biblical perspective...

Jesus did not even observe the Sabbath. That's the offense for which he was crucified.

Christians are not bound to the laws of the Torah from a NT perspective. That's what the 'gentile' mission is all about, and that's why Paul talks at length about how circumcision is not required for Christians (never mind that most modern Christians are terribly confused and do it for religious reasons anyway...)

(by the way, Sabbath observance is one of the 10 commandments. Jesus willfully broke it *on purpose*)

If you wanted to attend church services on Sundays you could. It is against the law for any employer for force someone to work on Sunday.

No it is not a sin if you have to work, or for other reasons either. What matters is that you seek God wholeheartedly.

By the way, Toadaly's answer was great!

Actually, an employer has to make a reasonable accommodation for an employee's religion. However, the employer can't and doesn't have to let everyone off on Sunday who wants it. That's true in America, at least.
