Where do the stars go at night?

this is not a scientific question or any of that because I know the answer, but more of a poetic thoughtful question

in your eyes, mind or heart, where do all the stars go at night?

in the night the illumination grows
then the stars are absorbed into the shadows
and dont appear
until in the world there is no more fear

In my mind they stretch above us, watching sleeping people. In my heart they span the earth, helping the moon to light the world. In my eyes they show light, inspiring greater thinking.

if the city burns so brightly beholding those mechancal lights,
the stars are frightened away by the vivid brighness, on those cold winter nights,

but in the rural country were the stars have free will to roam the midnight dance
the hours they lay still in their starlight trance

because otherwise it would be sad to see everything in darkness its to brighten up the dark

Home to bed or to a club in hollywood. . . . that place is packed with Stars. . .
