What's a good deck?

I want a deck thats long lasting light and has great pop and wont easily break or crack what kind of deck shouid I get?

we were looking to build a deck, there is a new material out thats made of really hard plastc but it looks like wood, I think its plastic...but it is virtually no maintenance, doesnt crack, you dont have to stain or paint it. We were looking at it at Menards. If you go to one of them stores they will know what you are looking for when you say its decking thats not made out of wood. and it comes in different colors. It may be a little more exspensive but when you figure you will never have to do maintenance on it then it will pay for itself. hope this helps. let me know
