Yes, I'm saved.

I'm saved from being forced to follow a God that doesn't exist.

to answer your question, no I am not
and I am completely happy with that
because I dont beleive in any god or in any religion
what happens when we die, I dont know
and to me your 'am I saved' question is not important at all
to a religious person it may be
but I am much happier living life the way I want to without worrying about what some god thinks of what im doing and without thinking that everytime I do something wrong I am forced to suffer or am forced to be ridiculed by other religious people
I also am happy not begging/asking/praying for a god to fix my problems
no, I am free to live my life, my way
I am my own best friend and my own critic
and im completely happy living the way I do, not worrying about a god or religion

that being said I have nothing against people who are religious unless they force there opinions and beleifs onto others and try to change them
but unfortunantly, thats the type of religious person that I usually come accross

jazlovetoskate: I have one perticular question after this statement

I really do respect that you didnt blow this comment off just because your answer is no and shared your thoughts on the topic. takes guts and a real person to do that. most people stick their nose up about this question and make fun of the kid. so thank you for being respectable and reasonable enough.

now my question ( which I hope you would try to think in reality for me and not just what you wish you would do or say in the scenario described below)

lets say you were walking down the street with your girl friend and you two walk by a bank a robber who has just robbed the place is running out the exit, he sees both of you and is scared of having witnesses so he grabs your girl and tells you to work with him or shes gone

where is your mind
well any logical human being would say on her ... correct

then you may be asking what will happen I need to save her do whats best for her

well the robber decides he really only needs one person to control if he lets one go he'll get caught

he takes her life in front of your eyes then grabs you...

again your thoughts on this would probably be somewhere along the lines of omg im going to die and omg shes gone

... gone where...is that where you will go?...why in such a crazy instant do you think where.

it could be what have you done, or why did it have to happen. but you say shes gone she has left. does leaving to no where seem at all logical.

your logic seems to be that death brings an end to what ever dies am I correct, thats the logic you think?

then dissapearing into nothing traveling to no where seems irrational, at least in my rational mind set.

I am not afraid of death, can you really say that. if you could, you would fear her death would you? you wouldnt want to beleive in a place where she could be happy for all enternity.. at all??

I leave you to decide, I dont need an answer.

to answer their question, yea im saved

shimaikun
I didnt really understand all of your question
and I am a girl with a boyfreind as well (as it says on my profile)
but if someone took my boyfreind like that, wether they have a gun or not I would try to kill them
but if at the time I though theyd probably kill me/him first I might go along with him for a bit...untill I find a good time to kill him
and if he did kill my boyfreind, I would kill him, more than once
im not saying thats a good thing
but if someone is going to be pathetic and want to put my and my boyfreinds life at stake for some stupid money, they deserve to die in my opinion, and my instinct would be to try to kill them
onto the other bit
I dont think that people just die when there dead and thats it
as I said before I dont know what happens when we die
right now im liking becoming a spirit (ghost) and being reincarnated
but I dont think we all go to a big place in the sky and live happily ever after together
I beleive in an afterlife
but I wont know what one untill im dead and im there
also, just because I dont beleive in heaven doesnt mean I dont think someone who died cant be happy, werever they are

Ichibanarky... thats such a good answer =]

Personally I think that when we die it will be exactly like we were before we were born.. and I won't care about going to heaven, because I won't know... because I won't be able to think...

I think that heaven is more of a 'state', a state of complete peace... where there are no negative emotions or anything... but you can't have positives without negatives...

You can't have love without hate, kindness with out unkindness...

So... heaven... in my opinion is pure NOTHINGNESS.

Saved from what?

There is no proof that there is a heaven or a hell, so what should I try and save myself from?

The only place where I'll be going when I die is in a coffin, underground.
Not some made up place that's apparently floating on a bunch of clouds in the sky.

I do believe there is a god and a Satan. Angels and demons exist, along with fire and ice. I've tried so many times to tell myself that there is no god,but I was raised around that;it was shoved down my throat until I digested it,and never forgot the fact. But,I have rebelled against Christianity and have become a strong Satanic. Of course I know I'm going to Hell! I do not see Hell as a 'firey pit of doom'. The ones that god do not collect remain here on Earth. To make myself clear,I'm going to be here pretty much FOREVER. So I might as well get used to this place, because I am not leaving.

This is an interesting question indeed. I don't believe in being saved like some sort of monumental heart-throb feeling of joy and love and acceptance. I think it's over time that you develop a feeling for that. I do believe you can know or at least have a good idea if you're in God's favor, but I don't know if it's fail-safe. There's always a way to screw things up lol.

Love God, Love Yourself, Love Others, these are the most important things.
