Hang in there while we get back on track
The Iraqi War.
Do you think our troops did a good job over there considering we shouldnt of been over there in the first place.
USA shouldnt have firstly invaded Iraq. The invasion was supported with lies and lies and even more lies:
- WMD which were never found.
- Operation Iraqi Freedom, which is under still occupation by the US forces.
- Ensure democracy, which is still not establishes and Iraq is under a puppet government supported by the US.
- Security is detoriating, with more and more car bombings rising every month.
- Nearly 5000 troops killed for what, a country that will no longer be part of USA?
- Shocking atrocities are committed on regular basis by majority of the foreign troops such as rape, murder, harrasment, humiliation, threatenings etc. popular examples are Lindsay England, Charles Graner, Sabrina Harman to name a few.
- Majority of torture cases go unreported or unchecked.
- More shocking is the endorsement of the torture methods by the US govt.
- Even after the troops pull back, uncertainity remains high on security.
- Atleast there was security in Iraq during Saddam.
- Sadly, the champions of human rights are the demons of humanity.
- Finally, USA had no threath from Iraq whatsoever, no connection between AlQaeda and Saddam was ever found even after 7 years of occupation and extensive investigations.
- Picture of man with human feces courtesy of the allied troops, shame on Bush, BABY killer!
Yes, they were asked to do a terrible task, and they have mostly done a great job. Too bad it was all for nothing, and made things far worse over there than had we not ever been there. Now we need to get them out of there asap.
blackineseman Dude I gotta say, what a great d*mn answer to the question, thats prytty much what I ment to say yet could not articulate, thanx!!
Considering I would have been ducking under anything I could find just to protect my own cowardly butt, I think they’ve done a noble and outstanding job…but you’re right - they don’t belong there.
I cant really answer that question because they shouldnt have been there in the first place. what great job have they done? kill iraqi’s? keep “peace”? im not anti-war, im not pro-war. im simply expressing my thoughts onto the question
“Do you think our troops did a good job over there considering we shouldnt of been over there in the first place.”
If there were a main reason as to why they should have been over there, if there was a main objective that had the outcome to be successful then they did a good job, but I dont see what objective was completed.
they did what they could and did a good job I suppose,I say I suppose because im anti war. I have more respect for the war resisters because there morals I can relate too and they speak out the truth. The war itself was such a selfish conquest and should have never happened. Killing another person and saying its in the name of freedom doesnt make sense to me, 2 wrongs dont make a right so yeah the soldiers did great, Its the government that did the sh*tty job, Im not against the soldiers, Im against the war.
Absolutely, they did what lots of people dont have the guts to do yes it was not a good decision in the first place but it is happening and atleast they have done the best they can. they left there life to go over there and fight. I believe they deserve more support . I feel so strongly about this because I have to brother and a step sister there so I know what they give up to do a good job
Our troops have done a GREAT job !! - we owe them a great deal of gratitude for their service.
