How to talk to my son's strict teacher?

What is the best thing to say to my son's strict teacher on a parent-teachers meeting day?

Tell her/him that your son is really sensitive and if there is a problem to call you instead of her/him talking to your son about it. You could tell the teacher that your son has soft feelings and sometimes feels emotionally beat on during class.

Why is she strict? Is your child disruptive in class, does she treat everyone the same way. You need to find out just what your child means by strict. I am a detention supervisor and the kids say I am strict because they are suppose to sit in their seats and do their work during school hours. This is of course is what they need to be doing yet they see it as strict. So get some description from your child on just what they mean.
