This depends on lots of things. Where you live, how much you make, how many dependants you have, etc.

In the U.S., waaay too much !! - don't forget the paying taxes on taxes and hidden taxes (as on your phone bill listed under 'services' - yet there are some calling 'higher' 'higher' all the time - program not working, we'll throw more money at it, that's the solution (like education) - other than that, taxes are just fine :-)
