How can i talk my friend out of suicide?

my friend david has his best friend commit suicide tonight. he is thinking about killing himself as well. the last text messege he sent me was that he was sorry...

what do I do?? I dont want him to kill himself and I have NO idea what to say to talk him...

I've ben through some suicidal issues 2.its a shock and is really hard 2 get through when you have suicide thoughts, but I kne my friends wood b there 4 me in the end.so thats what you need 2 do 4 your friend. sho him he'll always have a friend 2 turn 2.!

omG tell an adult bc if you don't that could haunt you for the rest of your life bc you had the chance to save your friend and you didn't Tell the police now!!!
