Sound proof it in what way exactly - stop it making noise when it opens and closes, or stop noise being heard on the other side of the door?

y0u w0nt beable to see 0ut y0ur glass slide d00r,but my tip is t0 use empty egg trays.the trays that h0ld at least 30 eggs will w0rk best.

Get styrofoam, the pink one is 1.5' that shoudl be sufficient, you could double it up crossways. Measure the door and be prepared to cut a piece or two, a good piece of strapping board can be used as a cutting edge.
