Sore throat every other day!

what does it mean that if I wake up every other day witha sore throat? my dad said it is drainage but if hurts really bad any advice would help please!

It could be you are snoring and don't realize it, or if you sleep with your mouth open it can become really dry and hurt some in the morning but goes away relatively soon once you are up and drink something.

I think you should see your gp asap!

twilightmom is right. If you sleep with your mouth open it can cause you throat to become dry...so maybe you are snoring or maybe you have sinuses and can't breathe properly at night. Keep water next to your bed and anytime you wake up during the night drink some water.
