It isnt as simple as telling someone any more. No one at her house seems to really care. Plus that I am sworn to secrecy.

Let me ask you a question, is keeping a promise more important than keeping her alive?

Also, school counselor, school nurse, call child protective services if she's being abused, talk to a teacher... The list does go on... You cannot fix whatever is going on with her. But you can get her help.

Let he/she know that you love and care about them if they feel like no one else does, assure them that nothing in life is worth taking your own. Anything they go through can be solved. Stay by their side and let them know you will have a very tough time without them and also I really think he or she should seek professional help because its hard to deal with on your own and how awful would you feel if he or she went through with it and with you being the only person who knew and could have stopped it from happening?? You would be very depressed. Talk to your friend about this. Good luck with everything and I wish you both the best.
