I have similar issues as you. and I have gotten the best help (with words) from a co-worker, or my boss...I also have one friend that I can sometimes get good advise from. if I'm really desperate and on the verge of flipping out, I read something of inspirational and positive thinking.
Well, if it usually happens when you're in school, it's pretty difficult to get counseling' on the spot...Maybe you should consider going to an outside counselor...one not connected to the school, on your own time. Outside counseling may very well help you from freaking while you are in school.

Where to go for face-to-face help
I have a lot of mental/emotionaly issues. sometimes I just freak out or break down for stupid reasons and I have no one to go to. I'm not close to my parents or sister and my friends are awesome, but they don't know how to deal with someone when they're...
freaking out. also, me and my boyfriend are having major problems (as partially described in another one of my questions) so I can't really go to him. and most of the time my freak-outs are during school but I can't go to the conselor because mine is just hard to talk to. she's all old and I just don't feel comfortable with her. I miss my conselor from mid school...
does anyone have any suggestions as to who I could go to for some immediate (when called for) face-to-face help?
