Skinny vs fat

Ok it seems that all the fat and chubby people keep saying that slim and skinyn people are unhealthy... And alost everyone on this site said I was unhealthy but my doc and soem bmi charts say im at a healthy rate and should stay at this weight... But then when I check all of the weights that say that we are too skinny you are either on the at risk place or overweight... So why do you all going around calling people unhealthy when you dont know what your talking about? Being skinny gets you away from all those health risks... And if being chubby and fat is healthy looking why are all these commercials on tv about weight loss? I never see commercials on tv about how to gain weight... Only place I see skinny people and healthy people is on the beach in their bikinis and on magazines!!! So yah that should show you... and im not agianst fat poeple... Only teh ones that say skinny poeple are unhealthy looking when they have no clue what they look like...

Today's society is totally focused on appearances now-a-days...that's why you see all these commercials that promote weight loss (companies who make these products make BUKOO BUCKS because of this fact) and why magazines are ONLY focused on the thin/beautiful people (hence why you rarely ever see plus size people in magazines). I've been on both sides of the spectrum ((I also have an ED (been OK with it now though for a year), which is also another craze that seems to be hitting our nation because we focus so much on being thin)) so I know both sides of the spectrum. More than likely those who are bugging you bout' you being too thin are either 1.Jealous or 2.Just are worried that you may be forming/have an ED and are just trying to help. Don't let them get to you...if you think you are fine (healthy weight) and your doctor even says you are good, than I'm more than sure you are good to go.

I've been fat and thin, love being thin, fat people that say skinny is unhealthy are just tring to make these;ves feel betta by puttin you down. thin is healthy, if fat was healthy then there wouldnt be an obese epedemic. simple as.

There are a healthy range of weights. Someone can unhealthy by being underweight or overweight.

I know I'm overweight. When I see someone who I think is harming themselves by trying to attain an unhealthy body weight I'll say so. I don't need anyone to tell me I'm overweight (I know it and have been working on overcoming this problem for years). When someone posts 'is this a healthy diet' and describe eating next to nothing I tell them. I'm not trying to put anyone down or trying to feel better about myself. I'm trying to help them.

exactly I dont think people should purposly make themself skinny or fat because its harmful... Like anorexics and people that just eat eat eat eat eat... I mean I eat eat eat eat eat and I wont get any fatter... but that doesnt mean im unhealthy or anorexic...

you know, big people like to have defense mechanisms, I think a lot of time their insecure, because of commecials, and television and the world in general, really I dont blame them but I think everyone needs to stop fighting over this, I know everyones not going to be happy with themselves, but what I think is that people need to stop saying whats right and wrong some things are right for some people and some things are right for others, everyone just needs to worry about their self.

Fat people = insecere

slim people = happy with life = and hott while doin that
