Skin tones and products.

Hi, im african american and I use to love my skin tone. It was a rich lightish carmel. I want it back but with band and cheer im always in the sun and I use sun block and screen. I really would like to know any skin lightening products that work for real and could get me shades lighter. Please dont write “ask michael jackson” thats really dumb. Oh and if you know and chinese or japanese skin lighteners that can make me shades lighter. Because I heard there stuff works. Thanks. And products for the whole body.

I’m just your average Goth chick. I’m fond of pale skin, however, I have a bit of an issue maintaining my pale skin. I’m mostly German and part native American(with a few more things thrown into the mix) so I can tan pretty well, and tan fast. I came crossed a website one day awhile back. There’s a completely natural way to maintain paler skin.

To make this incredibly simple DIY skin bleach (located in the lovely and charming Gawthpallor site) you will need:

a couple of lemon slices 1 cup of milk yoghurt flower water (optional) Soak slices of lemon in milk for a couple of hours. Strain out the lemon and add the yoghurt to thicken. Apply this cream to your face and body for a few hours so that the bleaching action can take effect. It might be wise to test the mixture on an area of skin that isn’t your face first. If you react badly with excess burning or itching, rinse the skin bleach off. Even if you get any redness, at least the whole world won’t be in a position to learn of your mistake.

Alternatively you can cheat and stick some lemon juice in a glass of milk, then rinse your face with it in the morning.

I’m not sure how it might affect your skin tone. But hey, give it a whirl, you never know. Try it on a small area first to be sure you get the results you want. Here’s the site I got the information from perhaps you may find a few things on there helpful

Hope this helps

Actually the homemade lemon creme bleaching thing isn’t bad for your skin. The milk and yogurt help nourishes your skin and the lemon isn’t bad for you either. Just putting straight lemon juice on your face helps peals away dead skin. Doing this on a regular basis(not like every day or every week, perhaps once every 1-3 months, but not too often) help prevent from wrinkles.

Just FYI, the lotion that I recommended earlier is not a bleaching solution, its just a vitamin E lotion that happens to get rid of your dry damaged skin quicker so that your youthful lighter skin that is underneath can come to the surface.

I have dark skin too, but apart from sun block and sun screen I don’t use anything. I don’t know if those “skin bleaching” products are really good for you in the long run…

I am a full Mexican and I get very dark during summer if I spend too much time in the sun. What I use to lighten my skin is just a regular affordable lotion called Vital Care Vitamin E Creme, Rejuvenates and Moisturizes (It is a blue and white container) I hope you can find it and I hope it works for you because it sure does work for me. Good Luck.
