Can you sing right with a tongue ring?

if I got a tongue ring would I not be able to sing anymore? or at least right?

nop I got mine done and its been a weeks and a half and now its just fine and only hurts if you bite it or somthin

No, tongue piercings are only on your tongue. It has no effect on your voicebox at all.

your tounge will be swollen for a while but then itll be back to normal and your voice will not change at all

I don’t think so. Is it really worth the odds? Hope you make the right choice, you are lucky you can sing, I wish I could. :(
