Sims 2 download extra stuff

I've been trying to download extra thngs like skins and hair and couches ect

I can get all the bathroom couches and all to get onto the game but the hair and clothes never go trough

help ?

First make sure you are extracting the files correctly or they wont work - and also you need to make sure the 'custom content' is enabled.
