How do you get a sim on your sims 2 that you have downloaded?

Okay so it was a full body sim, I can tell because the file has a different icon. I saved it into downloads folder in the Sims 2 folder, I don’t see it anywhere on create-a-sim though, (if you know where it should be please tell me) so I moved it into the saved sims folder and still couldn’t find it. please tell me where to save it then where to find it. thanks

When you dione creating a sim It goes to the sim bin/folder. To save the sim in create a family you need to select create family on the icon menu on the left bottom corner I believe that it’s the biggest button there. Then once again. It should end up in the sim bin if you have saved it correctly. Then you click on your sim to see how much simolians you have( money) and it will highlight the houses you can bun in green good luck hope I helped
