Should christian girls' wear skirts/dresses?

I'm a christian and there is a girl at my school who is a christian and she wears skirts everyday. I don't mind wearing skirts though. But why do christian girls' wear skirts?? O.o

Im a christian and I dont wear skirts but I would like to if it was practical for me. I do think that wearing dresses or skirts for women is better because God is pro having clear dilineation betwen males and females. He is not the author of confusion the devil is, and thats why God says its better for men to have short hair and women should have long hair because we are different for good reason and by Godsdesign
and women should look like women and men should look like men. God is into simplifying things for us. Skirts should always be tasteful though and not revealingly short.

ummh, well, its not required... im a christian, and I dont rely wear skirts. I dont evn own one anymore... =P lol ^_^ you dont have to... I think its more their choice--or they're in one of the more strict christian branches. I think im baptist. =P and they dont have any rule like that. lol

uhh there id nothing in the bible that says you have to wear skirts.
but there is something about modesty.

There's a certain sect in Christianity where girls can't where anything but skirts dresses because it's a sin to dress manly.

I'm 16, and a proud Penetecostal. I only wear skirts, I wear nightgowns even to sleep. This walk is about sacrifices, if after accepting God -I don't change or sacrifice.. then whats the point. If Christianity was meant to be easy.. then don't you think everyone would be a Christian -___-. my church's doctrine (rules) includes that we are not to wear pants.. the bible says that we are to obey the doctrine, If not - we are being defiant. =) If you have anymore questions,

Before the 60s women did not wear pants,the pants were invented for women when women rebeled and decided that they did not want to be housewives and that they should be allowed to work and do just as a man which is not biblical.WOmen are not allowed to dress like men and besides pants reveal and advertise your body that should only be your husbands and if your not married it should be the lords so you should not be exposing its godly shape.Its not any churches rule its the bibles rule but some churches to please the people choose not to follow the rules in its interity.It is also a sign of discipline to follow his rules...its a difficult sacrifice but its worth it3Im also a pentecostal and im 18 married and with 2 children.

Well, I only wear skirts, because I feel that if I am wearing pants I only blend in with the worldy people. Wearing only skirts makes me stand out and people see me and say, Hey! That girl is a christian! Or She is living her life for God. That is my own personal conviction though. You shouldn't live your life according to the way that men tell you is right. The Bible says to work out your own plan of salvation. God bless.
