What are some good sayings?

anyone know any good sayings? ya know how funny/weird songs and stuff go around? anyhing would help thnx sooo much.

My favorite is still... 'You can't polish a turd.'

the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down probably will. you will have your heart broken, probably more than once, and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when your was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things and old one did. You'll cry because the time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every 60 seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

I know that off my heart my mum used to make me recite it every day when I was 8 years old and it has never gone out my head!

'Every dog has it's day'...from Shakespeare, he's actually created a bunch of modern sayings that we use daily.

well my favorite is one I made up myself always worked when my son wanted something 'I would if I could but I can't so I won't' anyhow he always would just walk away dumb founded and do what he needed to do himself.
