Not good on making friends, nervous about school, help?

I'm not real good on making friends and I'm new in dis state,colorado and I've never been here and I'm kinda nervous because I start like in 3 wks. I think well please help!!!

Be yourself dont try and act as if somone your not

join clubs and get involved in school activities it will help

I changed schools this year, so I know how you feel. You worry about whether you'll be able to find people to connect with like your old friends, if your clothing tastes are similar, and whether the teachers are going to eat you.

Don't worry. Every school is different, but teens are going to be teens. They'll be curious about you, the new kid. They'll ask questions like where did you come from and things like that, and you'll be able to pick up new friends during the process. You'll get to know the people in your classes, who ride your bus (if you ride one), and people at your lunch.

It'll be okay. Just go through your day, talk to people, and everything will work out.

I totally agree with kecinmm, just be yourself. Chances are, you'll see where you'll be most comfortable, like people that you would hang out with back at your old school. Just don't be too shy, and talk to people, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you can't find a class or something. Show everyone that you are just another average teen, and there's nothing to worry about. Good luck and all! Hope it works out.

if you talk and hang around a person you want to be friends with you withh become friends talk about things you both have in commom... if that does not work try someone else you will find you real friends.

Just be yourself, I dont have any friends at school execpt 1 who we don't talk much and I get by
