Scarlett fever rash

Does anyone know what Scarlett Fever Rash is? My neighbor's little boy was diagnosed with this. I thought that Scarlett Fever was something that really isn't around anymore.

Any ideas?

my son had it. it is an older illness but is no longer as deadly. antibiotics clear it right up. its a coarse rash that feells bumpy and almost like sandpaper. it itches too. it also causes your tounge to be a super red color. its nothing to worry about. =-)
