Does which god matter when getting into heaven?

If people of all religions can go to heaven by worshipping whatever God they chose to beleive in, why does it matter what God they chose to beleive in? Just wondering. Does it even matter what religion you are, if you will still go to heaven for woshipping any God? Please give suggestions. Thank You.

Do you mean like Buddha or Mohhamad? Because those men are only dieties of a false religion according to many people, but in my opinion life is meant to be lived how ever you so choose, which is why God or whatever you want to beleive created us, created us with free will. So worship who you will.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except by me". That is, if you are not a Christian you are not going to heaven.

Most other religions also have similar exclusionary statements. So you have to see which one is true, and follow that religion. I believe it is Christianity, based on the evidence (and I'm a lawyer so I'm good at weighing up evidence!) You need to turn away from your sins and put your trust in Jesus to be saved.

Another thing is, some religions don't believe in a heaven, but rather reincarnation, finding your inner god and other wacko stuff like that.

There is only one Holy Bible, there is only ONE GOD that stands supreme over the universe, there is only one faith, that has been handed down from the apostles and holy prophets of old. There is only one God, of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob.

If there's a god out there that let's in anyone who worships any god, why would he exclude non-god-worshippers? That seems like a silly standard.

You want to know the difference between Jesus Christ and all the other gods? They're all DEAD. Jesus is alive. You can believe whatever you want to, but I KNOW that he's real, and he's alive. I understand if you have a hard time believing that, though. I did too- for a LONG time. Personally, I think religion is SUPER boring. It's not about religion. It's not about going to heaven or hell. It's about a relationship.

Well, first there's only one True and Living God. There are many religions who serve God but do it in different ways with different practices and beliefs and may even have different names of what they call Him. At the end of the day, it doesnt matter what religion you are because religion is not what saves you. It's Jesus, He is the only Way to God (John 14:6) and there is no other name or thing by which we can be saved but Jesus (Acts 4:12). Other gods are merely distractions from the True God brought by the enemy, he'll get people so caught up in religion and which one is right and which way to worship is right and this that and the other, when your relationship with God is all that matters. There is only one God, and there are three monotheistic religions, christianiity, Islam, and Judaism, and most people would believe that since there's one God why should it matter if you believe any one of those religions. well, to get to heaven, you have to trust in Jesus(who is also God), and Judiasm doesn't believe in Jesus( well that he rose from the dead), and muslims believe that Jesus was a good prophet. and to answer toadaly's thought, God excludes non-God worshippers, because he truly, deeply loves them, but since we have free-will, people can choose to follow God or not.I'm not offended , but why does that seem like a silly standard?no offense, but it's no different than believing that when you die, you just disappear,or that there is no God.
