How can i get closer to god?

how can i get closer to god? i've been raised in the church and i really dont want to make him sad, but i feel this need to be really bad, and break all the rules..help!

James 4:7 says draw near to God and he will draw near to God.
coming close to God is a choice
1. finding good worship music (God inhabits (lives) in the praises of his people.
2. finding a good bible beliving church 2Tim 2:15
3. finding other Bible beliving Christians to share your beliefs and to share your strugles and you beliefs with.
4.Reading and or studying God's word
5. knowing and beliving that God Loves you, his love is based on you not on your performance but on you as a individual
if you ever doubt his Love just look to the Cross of Jesus Christ.
He loves You!!

That is what we like to call, rebelliousness..
You seem as if to be confined, and maybe your family is strict with you.
You need to find out why you wish to be so bad, and work on ways to, be good.
By doing things you know are good, and not being bad.

It is easier to be bad than good I guess. If you really want a challenge, then try doing things the right way. Besides, being bad doesn't ever get you any good consequences either. Hope this helps.

One simple little thing that I could suggest is to make a list of all the bad things that you can possibly think of... and then, after you have your list... write down the consequences of each thing... think it thru, really put some effort into it, because, Satan is the author of all those inticing thoughts that you are having, but, what he never tells anyone, is what happens... afterward... and every action, has a consequence... see if what you want to do, is worth the consequence...

God gives us power thru his spirit to resist the temptations that come to us, and this is how he wants us to live.. Satan tells us, oh that is just your thoughts, and he makes you want to do certain things.. but, you do not have to do them.. you can resist him, at the thought process.. and he will flee... for awhile... he will never leave all together, and we will never be completely free from his suggestions... as long as we are on this earth.. but, the Holy Spirit is always available, he will answer when you call...
