I had soft curly hair and I used twice a soft chemical straightener my hair now is freezy and looks unhealthy, I did this treatment more than a year ago and I regret it.

it can damage your hair, but it probably wont RUIN it. If your hair is thicker, it would be okay, but if it is thinner, you probably shouldnt.

Chemically straightening your hair is very damaging especially if you’re hair is not course. It will burn your hair and your scalp. African Americans have relaxed their hair for years. It can make your hair fall out. Any time you apply a chemical that contains lye to your hair you are at risk of damaging your hair.
