Will red and black hair look good?

I've had my hair black and red before but I dont think it looked really good. But I want to do it again. But I want it to look good. Any ideas?

The new style in my area is black hair with red highlights and red bangs, with maybe a freaky blue/purple streak at the bottom. HOT!

Make the bangs Dark red or blue and the rest black.. that would be awesome

First dye all of your hair black. Then, dye the ends of the strands of your hair black. Or, if you want to, you can do it the other way around.
