Why isn't internet video working?

Sometimes when I'm trying to watch a video reports at various Internet sites, a clip is playing only the introductory or finishing advertising movie, skipping the main content of the report. I have Adobe Flash Player installed. It started happening after I received my PC back from repair. I noticed a new folder Realtek in my Program Files folder, but I don't know whether it has anything to do with the problem.

lyonka,

I'm pretty knowledgeable with computers, and I've never heard of this happening before. It's interesting that your computer will play the advertisements, so it shouldn't have anything to do with your flash or codecs. Realtek is an audio driver, so its installation shouldn't affect video, just audio.

What I would do is call the company who repaired your computer and ask them if they can help you with it. If it just started happening after they messed with it, they should fix it back to normal.

Good luck!
