Pressured to become pregnant.

My best friends boyfriend really wants children. He keeps pressurizing her to keep having sex with him until she becomes pregnant. My friend does want children but not now she is only 16. What can I do to help?

Oh my lord... Your poor friend. First of all, you need to sit her down BY HERSELF. NOT with her idiotic boyfriend. You need to explain to her first of all that you are her friend, and that you love her to death (I'm sure you do if you're besties. :P). Let her know that you are concerned for her. Because for one, he does not need to be pressuring her to do something she is not ready for--emotionally, financially, and physically. Do you know how many young people ruin their lives by having a baby so early on? There are so many factors to this, it's not even funny. Also, I know this sounds a bit extreme, but if this boyfriend of hers is so ready to have children, there is a possibility that he could rape her. And I am dead serious. Boys that think they can be men often find it hard to believe that someone is saying no to them. And trust me when I say this, love is nice and all... But even if they did have a baby, do you think they will honestly still be together.. oh, 3 years down the road? SHE IS YOUNG. She does not need to be with someone who is ready to settle down with a screaming, whining, IWANTIWANTIWANT, MINEMINEMINE, baby? If nothing else helps, tell her to get on here and read the things myself, and most likely, other people have to say.

She should tell him if he wants kids go have them with somebody else, you should never let somebody pressure you to do something like that. He obviously dosent know what a responsibility kids are, if he did he wouldnt be such an A** hole
