Pregnancy or birth control messing with hormones?

Me Asked by mcclaina87 8 months ago, 4 answers.

I stopped taking birth control on February 14th. I was on birth control for 3 months. I had unprotected sex February 14th - February 20th, because from what I was told, right after you stop taking birth control is your most fertile days. My last...

period was February 10th- February 14th. I was supposed to start my period on March 10th. It never came. I have taken about 15 pregnancy tests all together. I took 10 of them 1-5 days before I was supposed to start my period. I took 5 of them 1-14 days after my missed period. I am now 14 days late, and have gotten negative results for all of them except for two tests which showed positive at first and then it disappeared. I have no idea if I ovulated or not, or if it was late. If any of you have had similar experiences please feel free to comment below, or if you have any information about my situation I am open for ears.

the stress of you waiting for your period can pro-long the wait.. when the body gets stressed it freeks out.. I would wait one more week and then take another test.. you mostlikely are right and it is just your hormones..

After finishing the pill, it is best to allow a natural period to come
It sounds like you want to become pregnant from what I can make out...
It will take a while for it to leave your system and such... so just be patient if you want to conceive

How long does it usually take for a normal period to come back after you stop taking the pill. When I started taking the pill my periods were normal before and during the time of taking them. I ended the pill the same day I ended my period.

Thank you for your advise, it was very helpful!

It may take a month or so.
I would wait a couple of months till it's out of your system.
