How long does pregnancy take after stopping the pill?

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A WOMAN TO GET PREGNANT AFTER SHE STOP TAKING BIRTH CONTROL? SHE HAS STOPPED TAKING IT FOR OVER A MONTH NOW AND REALLY WANTS A BABY.

It took us 5 months to conceive our first child - I was a bit depressed about it but really 5 months is quite normal; anything between one month and a couple of years is normal, apparently! So I understand if your partner is upset, 'cause I was, but it's nothing to worry about really.
