You should seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian. You might be able to find a home hospice vet who can do the procedure in your home.

Is your golden retriever sick? You should be absolutely sure that putting the dog down is in it's best interests. There are many things you can do to accommodate your senior dog.

That is not a horrible question. I have a 12 year old Springer who hates going to the vet. It is an awful experience whenever we had to bring him. He is loosing his mind, barking at walls, constantly crying, and unable to walk for any period of time. He is able to go to the bathroom outside and beg for food which makes this decision but with a life time of allergies he now need $230/month medicine to make him only cry 1/2 the day and night instead of a 24 hour period. I found a wesite that shows you how but, looks awful involved. If you found anything out, please reply.
