Volunteering for 13 year olds(almost 14)

shadow. Everything I read about volunteering at shelters at my age talks about having an adult with you and I thought that if I tried out my local vet-Green Cross-I would be able to help out alone. What do you think? Where could I volunteer alone?

the vet might work but you should ask your local animal shelter if THEY want an adult with you. I am also going to start volunteering for the vet or aniumal shelter but im not going to have my parents with me.

Also, you can go on the HSUS website and take their online classes. That would be very helpful as your work with animals continues. I go undercover to investigate animal abuse and work to strengthen laws regarding animals.
