as far as I know you dig a hole and put it in... give it lots if water til it gets its root system in all nice and ddep though...

My dad was telling me the other day that you have to put toothpicks in the seed and put it in water and let it sprout... if that doesn't work I have no idea.

Suspend with toothpicks in glass of water, it will eventually sprout. You must keep fresh water around avacado. I have 2 plants I have grown myself from seed. It is fairly simple. Goodluck :D
