Do you have tips on planning a wedding?

Me and my boyfriend are planning on getting married in either October or November...I need to start planning a wedding. He's leaving for basic training in June, so I will probably be planning most of it on my own. I really don't know much about planning weddings, so if you all could help me out...it would be great:-)

Magazines.......brochures.........wedding expos........wedding planners.......your mum or sister/family in general and friends help!!!!

A fall wedding can be a lovely thing!!!
A friend of mine made home made apple butter for a favor to put on the tables, she did everything in fall colors, was able to bring in some twigs and deep purples and reds for flowers and decorations. She got married in an old city hall so they did everything in twigs and white lights with sheer...it was a very breath taking wedding!
