Needed a pad but it only lasted one day is this normal?

I looked at my underwear and saw my first period and I needed a pad but it only lasted one day is this normal?

I hate periods I really do you and I hate when you blood gets in your underwear so bad

I'm no expert on the matter but if this is your first one, I dont think this is particulary unusual.

Help me out here ladies...

yea im on mine right now um yea I also hate it when you sleep the wrong way and blood gets all over your bed sheets

I hate when im on my period

you must use overnight pads..so there'll b no stains on bed sheets..
I hate it when I have a period.. but it's good for me.
use pads with 'wings' so you wont get stains on the undies..
or yeah.. tampons..

Of course! Most woman have to change their pads several times a day. You should change it every time you go to the washroom, unless there is little blood on the pad, because its only sanitary to do. If you get heavy flows then maybe you could use different pads or try tampons, but I don't reccommend them because they can cause infections and such. But YES it is normal.

it will take a while for your periods to normalize, you may not even have another one for a couple of months. However; when you see a doctor for your annual check-up let them know about this.

my first period only lasted one day & then it came back the next month .. its totally finee if that happened.

Ok you dont necessarily need to change it every time you go to the bathroom (I go a lot when im on my period) but you should change it atleast twice a day (like once in the morning and once in the evening). And yeah it is perfectly normal. If the bleeding is to the point of changing it every hour or two then you have a problem.
