Hey everyone I am sooo sorry I am buggin you about all this puberty stuff but its been on my mind a lot lately! Okay so heres my story and my question: one day I lloked into my underwear and saw blood! It was my first period yay!! Except when I put a...

pad on the blood didn't drip anymore but whenever I went to the bathroom there was always blood when I cleaned along with the discharge...and the period only lasted for 2 days! My question is: is this normal? And is this my period or not?

It's ok! lol, someone has to tell you! And different girls cycles can start out pretty weird, so yes this is normal, it is also normal if you do not see your period for like 2 months when you first start, a lot of times, periods are irregular, and people start to freak out, but it is normal, and just puberty. funmail with any questions! :] goodluck!

yeah its normal. I had my first period when I was 11. it wasnt even heavy blood. and I had it for 3 days. now usually im heavy and last for about a week. so I guess when you first get your period its a couple days only. then you start developing and gettin used to it and it stretches to longer days.

YES ITS NORMAL BECAUSE I STARTED MY PERIOD WHEN I WAS 12 AND WHEN I FIRST CAME ON MY PERIOD IT ONLY LASTED FOR ABOUT 3 DAYS SO ITS NORMAL.

it varies between women, but 2 days is ok.
it's common to have irregular periods in puberty.
if it was red, lasted at least 2 days, you needed a pad, it lasted the whole day, then it's a period.

I wish my period lasted for 2days my period is always 7days 2days is a good thing I'm 23years old. I got my period when I was 11 or 12 years old it lasted for 2days but it normal too have a period for 2days but sit down and talk too your mother or older sister or someone that can give you some advice too.

I JUST GOT MY PERIOD THE OTHER DAY AND I AM TWELVE! MY PERIOD ONLY LASTED 3 DAYS SO I AM THINKING THAT THIS IS COMPLETLEY NORMAL!!! DID YOUR PERIOD EVER GET ANY LONGER THAN TWO OR THREE DAYS??? PLEASE ANSWER!!! I AM REALLY CURIOUS!!! THANKS... BYEEE

yes its normal, sometimes you have it longer then others. but dont worry as long as it comes out your fine happy

I don't think it's really something to worry about...im 13 and I got my period when I was 11...and it is still irregular
sad mine skips months and then comes back, but don't worry the older we get the more longer periods we'll recieve
