im sre you don t have to be a specific age and I think its free, but im not sure about the money but the age is right
my teacher was sayin its like 12 bucks but I don't know
There is no specific age, because everyone has to have one, including new born babies. Here in Canada, it's like $85.

I think you have to be 16 without parents signing for you and it costs about 65.00 for US passport...different fees to apply to how soon you need it..plus you have to pay for passport pictures...checkonline for all the details.
the last time that I had to get a passport, it was like 30 I believe, but I'm not completely sure. as for the age, you can get one at any age if you really need to have one.
All people can have passports, including infants. However, if you're under the age of 14, you need a parent/guardian to sign it with you.
As far as prices go:
Age 16 and older: The passport application fee is $67. The execution fee is $30. The total is $97 .
Under Age 16: The passport application fee is $52. The execution fee is $30. The total is $82 .
