How old do you have to be to get a passport?

As editor said…there is no age limit, you just need a parent to sign if you are under 18 and it certainly is not free. You can also get a passport card, which is cheaper($50) but only valid to most North American countries so it’s better to get a normal passport.

the last time that i had to get a passport, it was like 30 i believe, but i’m not completely sure. as for the age, you can get one at any age if you really need to have one.

I think you have to be 16 without parents signing for you and it costs about 65.00 for US passport…different fees to apply to how soon you need it..plus you have to pay for passport pictures…checkonline for all the details.

Picture Me(inside most Wal-Mart Supercenters) and Kinkos usually have passport picture services.

im sre you don t have to be a specific age and i think its free, but im not sure about the money but the age is right

There is no specific age, because everyone has to have one, including new born babies. Here in Canada, it’s like $85.
