Should I meet this older guy I met online?

Hi...I've known this guy for about eight months. I am twenty four and he is forty eight. I've seen pictures of him and I've spoken with him over the computer. Now he really wants to meet me and I don't have anyone to meet him with me here; of course first meeting someone from being online is kinda scary right? What would you do? Also, he is out of state and going to drive here.

If you have spoken to this person online but you are still not sure ask him for his number and give him a call but make sure you speak to him on the phone a few times before actually meeting him. It does not have to be scary meeting someone from the internet. The fact that he is willing to drive to meet you should show you that he is serious, a sex maniac can find some one in his own town to harrass. If you do decide to meet him, make the meeting at a very public place, one you are comfortable in or where people more or less 'know' you. I met my husband online and I am very happy he took the first step to travel to meet me. All the best.
